Terms and conditions of sale

In force as of 12 September 2026.

Article 1 — Purpose and seller

These terms and conditions of sale govern any order placed on chrome-audio.com by a consumer. The seller is a sole proprietorship operating under the trade name Chromé, SIRET 927 511 311 00023, whose business is located at 34 rue de la Montagne Sainte-Geneviève, 75005 Paris, France. Contact: contact@chrome-audio.com.

Placing an order implies unreserved acceptance of these terms. The customer declares that they are of legal age and legally capable.

Article 2 — Products

The products offered are wired earphones with a USB-C connector and a chrome finish. Their essential characteristics are described on the product page. Photographs illustrate the product but are not contractual: slight variations in colour may exist.

Products are offered while stocks last. The remaining stock shown on the product page reflects the seller's actual inventory.

Article 3 — Prices

Prices are shown in euros, all taxes included. As the seller is registered under the French micro-entrepreneur scheme, the following statement applies: VAT not applicable, article 293 B of the French General Tax Code.

Delivery costs are shown before the order is confirmed and are added to the price of the products. The seller reserves the right to change its prices at any time; the applicable price is the one displayed at the time of the order.

Article 4 — Orders

The ordering process consists of selecting products, checking the cart, entering delivery details, choosing a delivery method, then paying. Before paying, the customer can check the details of their order and correct any errors.

Payment validation constitutes conclusion of the contract. An order confirmation is sent by email. The seller reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order for a legitimate reason, in particular in the event of a previous dispute, suspected fraud or an obvious pricing error.

Article 5 — Payment

Payment is made in full by bank card or by the payment methods offered at checkout. Transactions are processed by certified payment providers; the seller never has access to the customer's full bank details.

Article 6 — Delivery

Products are shipped to addresses in mainland France, the French overseas departments, the European Union and the other countries offered at checkout. Delivery is free in France (mainland and overseas departments) and in the European Union. For other countries, delivery costs of €9.90 apply; they are shown to the customer before the order is confirmed. Details and delivery times are set out in the shipping policy. For deliveries to the French overseas departments and outside the European Union, any customs duties, import taxes and clearance fees are not included in the price and are payable by the customer. In accordance with article L216-1 of the French Consumer Code, the seller undertakes to deliver within a maximum of thirty days from conclusion of the contract. Failing this, the customer may terminate the contract after a formal notice that remains unanswered. The risk of loss or damage passes to the customer when they take physical possession of the product.

Article 7 — Right of withdrawal

A customer acting as a consumer has fourteen days from receipt of the product to exercise their right of withdrawal, without giving any reason. Full details and the model form are set out in the returns and refund policy.

Article 8 — Legal guarantees

Regardless of any commercial guarantee, the seller remains bound by the following legal guarantees:

  • Legal guarantee of conformity (articles L217-3 et seq. of the French Consumer Code): the customer has two years from delivery of the goods to take action. They may choose between repair and replacement, subject to the cost conditions set out by law. They do not have to prove the existence of the lack of conformity during the twenty-four months following delivery.
  • Guarantee against hidden defects (articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code): the customer may take action within two years of discovering the defect and obtain cancellation of the sale or a price reduction.

These guarantees apply free of charge for the customer. To use them, write to contact@chrome-audio.com.

Article 9 — Commercial guarantee

In addition to the legal guarantees, the seller offers a thirty-day satisfaction guarantee from receipt, allowing the product to be returned without giving any reason. This commercial guarantee does not replace or limit the legal guarantees in any way.

Article 10 — Customer service and complaints

Any complaint can be sent to contact@chrome-audio.com. The seller undertakes to reply within three business days.

Article 11 — Mediation and disputes

In accordance with article L612-1 of the French Consumer Code, the customer may use a consumer mediator free of charge to resolve a dispute amicably, after first making a written complaint to the seller. The details of the competent mediator are provided on request at contact@chrome-audio.com.

The customer may also use the European online dispute resolution platform.

These terms are governed by French law. Failing an amicable resolution, the dispute will be brought before the competent courts.

Article 12 — Personal data

The data collected is necessary to process orders. Its processing is detailed in the privacy policy.

Article 13 — Waste electrical and electronic equipment

The products sold fall under the waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) scheme. They must not be thrown away with household waste and can be dropped off at a dedicated collection point.
